  • Holiday lights are installed on your house starting in October and are taken down by mid-February. These lights follow a fixed color pattern prior to installation and cannot be changed once installed. However, you can select a new pattern each season.

    Permanent outdoor lights (like Gemstone Lights) are a permanent fixture on your property that you can change daily with the Gemstone Lights app. Think of this as a premium option!

  • Gemstone Lights are highly customizable permanent outdoor lights. Lightin’ Up is an authorized dealer of Gemstone Lights, meaning that after you accept a quote from us, you can have warm white lights during the summer and get festive during the holidays.

  • For Lightin’ Up’s standard holiday lighting service, we own the lights and provide the installation, takedown and storage.

    With Gemstone Lights, the customer owns the lighting system outright. Lightin’ Up offers a one year maintenance warranty alongside Gemstone Lights’ lifetime warranty.

  • Of course! We recommend making changes as early in the season as possible as our schedule may impact the availability of products.

  • Installing outdoor lights can improve the aesthetics of your home, but it also adds an extra layer of safety and security. Our lights aren’t bright enough to bother your neighbors, but bright enough to illuminate walking paths and driveways.
